SouthData President John Springthorpe, III, accepts the Fast 50 award from Darlene Leonard of Smith Leonard.
SouthData has been recognized as a Fast 50 recipient for the last four years in The Business Journal’s premier, business growth competition and regional awards program.

“I am honored that SouthData has been selected as a Fast 50 business since 2005,” said SouthData President John Springthorpe, III.

SouthData was ranked 32nd in an awards ceremony that took place Sept. 25 in Greensboro.

“SouthData has learned that success comes from being bold enough to try new things and savvy enough to recognize which ones make sense long term,” according to a business profile published in The Business Journal on Sept. 26.

Winners had to meet several qualifications to be considered. Nominees had to be a for-profit venture based in the Triad, be privately held and independent, have completed three full fiscal years of operation and had revenues of at least $2 million in 2007. The rankings were completed by accounting firm Smith Leonard.
