SouthData Requesting USPS Forms

Go Back to News Page

The United States Postal Service (USPS) has recently made a change to its postal regulations. Due to this change, SouthData is required to have clients sign Processing Acknowledgement Forms (PAFs), which enable the USPS to comply with the federal Privacy Act of 1974.

SouthData emailed clients on November 18, 2009, to collect the signed PAFs.

Clients simply need to sign both forms where it says “Signature” and then print their names and titles, then fax the forms back to SouthData at 336.789.4143. The forms were attached to the email as PDF documents.

Clients may access the “Information Packages” referenced on the PAFs on SouthData’s website at:

http://www.southdata.com/downloads/MLOCR_Infopak.pdf

http://www.southdata.com/downloads/ncoa_Infopak.pdf

These two documents provide greater technical detail regarding these new postal service requirements.

The USPS requires the authorization process to be repeated on an annual basis. SouthData will notify clients when this needs to take place.
