SouthData Spotlight: Andrew Blood Company news Lauren Bull southdata spotlight Aug 09 2018 Perhaps the only blog post you’ll read today that includes references to HOA, pork shoulder, and Black Mirror. Meet Andrew Blood, SouthData’s Southeast Region District Manager. Describe your role at SouthData. As the Southeast Region District Manager, I am responsible for all new and existing accounts located in Florida, Georgia, and South Carolina. My role requires quite a bit of travel, but the experience has been very rewarding as many clients have become close friends. What I enjoy most about my job is being able to use new ideas and technology to help our clients solve difficult problems. What led you to this career path? Prior to SouthData, I sold educational books door-to-door for the Southwestern Company. For college, I attended Appalachian State for Business Management with a focus in Entrepreneurship. Both of these experiences gave me a great foundation for enjoying the last seven years here at SDI. What recent project has been a huge success for you? We recently brought on Spartanburg Water, located in Spartanburg, SC. This was a great win as we were able to help the client transition from a form-based process to a real-time solution. What do you see as the most exciting thing on the horizon for SouthData? One hundred percent the level of service and new products that we are now bringing to our HOA/Property Management clients. Our team has done an incredible job making our HOA clients a top priority, and we are starting to hear an abundance of exciting feedback. What makes for a successful client relationship? Taking the time to see from the perspective of others and bringing real value to the relationship. What is the first thing you do every day at work? Drive to the first meeting of the day. What is your go-to meal to cook? Slow-smoked pork shoulder. I actually really enjoy cooking, grilling, and bringing friends together. What is your favorite TV show to binge watch? Anything on Netflix. I just finished Black Mirror.
