Project Management Specialist

The purpose of the Project Specialist is to ascertain, document, organize and manage all details of new projects and opportunities that have been presented by our Sales staff, clients and prospective clients. The person in this position will work closely with Sales, Operations, IT and Manufacturing while assessing client requirements, asking questions, answering questions, and gathering details, as well as, participate in client visits, client training and client communication both verbal and written. As projects move from initial design stages, through testing, order processing and into manufacturing, the Project Specialist will insure that the resulting product will maximize order processing procedures and manufacturing efficiencies, as well as, meet or exceed client’s expectations.

Required:  Associate Degree in a technical field or 3 years relevant experience at SouthData

 Skills:      

  •  Extensive knowledge of SouthData processes and systems
  •  Proficient in MS Office
  •  Superior written and verbal communication skills
  •   Superior attention to detail
  •   Knowledge of United States Postal Service regulations
  •   Proven ability to work in a team environment

     

  • Respond quickly to requests for project review in all markets
  • Works with Account Executives, in all markets, to become familiar with client requirements
  • Be the primary internal contact for all information relating to the projects assigned
  • Coordinate all aspects of initial design stages, testing, order processing, and inspection for all markets
  • Insure that projects will seamlessly progress into and through manufacturing
  • Deliver the highest quality product and service to the client
  • Keep all departments informed as project develops
  • Provide experience and advice on form design, postal regulations, manufacturing processes, software systems and company capabilities
  • Collect client sample data file, record layout, data mapping documents, forms, envelopes, and any other information pertinent to the project
  • Document the project using knowledge of SouthData order processes, software systems, digital printing capabilities, and manufacturing procedures
  • Inspect every aspect of the project to insure accuracy
  • Be available to assist Account Executives on client visits and client training as needed

 

Compliance Assistant

  • Knowledge of software licensing
  •  Understanding of PCI, HIPAA and SOC audit requirements
  •  Superior written and verbal communication skills
  • Exceptional organizational skills
  • Technical background
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Ability to multi-task, while maintaining complex schedules and managing administrative support
  • Efficient and comfortable being a member of a team
  • Gather compliance information and data from various departments
  • Assist with the compilation of the data
  • Work with the compliance team on the compliance assessments from customers and OSG auditing firms.
  • Report on status controls, risks mitigation activities and remediation efforts.
  • Assist in researching, writing and documenting policies and procedures.
  • Prepare and organize information for company audits.
  • Assist as needed in organizing and training employees on HIPAA; PCI; etc.

 

2nd Shift Technical Support Specialist

  •    Associate Degree in Computer Technology or related field
  •    2 years’ relevant experience
  •   Proficient in MS Office
  •   Experience with Microsoft Server 2008 and 2012
  •  Understanding of Network Infrastructure and Equipment
  • Proficient in use of Microsoft Windows desktop operating systems – Windows 7, Windows 8 and Windows 10
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Remote support skills are advisable for this position in order to assist customers over the phone
  • Ability to speak confidently to customers making technical jargon easy to understand
  • Need to be able to understand and articulate the needs a customer has in order to upsell products that would prevent issues from re-occurring
  • Perform system installation and setup for desktop workstations
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair, or have repaired by vendors, computer hardware
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose and recommend corrective actions for internal software applications
  • Evaluates expansions or enhancements by studying work load and capacity of computer system
  • Achieves computer system objectives by gathering pertinent data; identifying and evaluating options; recommending a course of action
  • Respond quickly and accurately to work requests using proper procedures
  • Notify appropriate internal and external managers of relevant technical problems
  • Provide emergency support after normal work hours as required
  • Assist with seasonal demands in SouthData order processing
